Well they are for her, but they are as much for me too... we both win! tongue.gif

I have to dig up my old books. When I was in high school I wrote constantly, daily at times. Probably had something to do with the amount of weed I smoked back then haha

So far the choice hasn't been bad. It saves me from giving you a harsh judgement.

You might need to go on the show, is all. Gnappster might be able to send you an episode or two.. he's good at that

Duely noted!

My fav band of all time is Nirvana. Right now I dig alotta Aussie bands, some are big overseas, some aren't. I like Wolfmother and Jet. I basically like the raw style garage rock and roll.

Having said that no matter what genre, if it's a good song I dig it

Cool choices.... I love Nirvana even though heès dead and the possibility of fucking him is not there.

So do you like any heavy metal stuff like... Rob zombie, Korn, Metallicaàs (old stuff)

I love Jet... wolfmother not too sure. Will have to check them out.

Do you know or like any Canadian bandsÉ

(remember replace this annoying È with..... you will figure it out)

I must admit I am not so much into metal. Korn and Metallica have/had some good songs but I don't enjoy the scene if you know what I mean. I associate Metal with narrow mindedness, macho-ism, thuggery, sexism so I don't dig it. I know it is a generalisation but thats my opnion. I like more of a melody in my rock and roll.

Check out Wolfmother, they are very Zeppelin-esque

I used to like Tea Party. To be honest alot of Canadian music we do get down here is either the pop stuff like Avril and Nelly Furtado or the emo stuff which I dont care much for. Alexisonfire are ok and The Chemical Romance have a few good songs but all in all I guess I don't know much about Canadian Rock and Roll

good choices. I like the unpolished feel of a lot of garage rock, yet I also like guys who really experiment sound like Reznor and Zombie.

Tea Party was a great band when they were around. There is a TON of great Canadian rock out there but obviously most aren't heard outside Canada if they aren't hugely popular.
Fav. Canadian band for me and possibly fav. band period are the Headstones...even though they split up now sad.gif

You'll have to steer me in the right direction of some bands. Like I said unless they are radio friendly we tend not to hear too much Canadian Stuff.
