All this techie talk makes me feel like a Ludditte. If my father saw me sitting inside while it was nice outside, he'd find some shitty chore for me to do.For this reason, I spent most of my time outside, shooting hoops, swimming, playing hockey. I really didn't stick around the house much except to eat and sleep. Even watching TV wasn't really something I got into. I've never played a video game or an arcade game. As a matter of fact, RMM is the first thing I've done with a computer. My company has had them for quite a while, but I always just bought (paid for) what everyone told me we needed and never paid much attention after that.

well at least you use computers for something worthwhile today....although maybe if you spent a little more time behind one in the past, you'd be able to figure out your login problems :nahnah:

Man, you sound exactly like closeup. No wonder you chose the same name as his.

i did lots of inside and outside stuff when I was younger and I still do now. I'm not a TV vegetable either. there are shows I like and try to make a point to watch, but I don't get upset if I miss 'em. I love the Simpsons, but I don't call every one I know to see if they can tape it for me if I'm not going to be home on Sunday night. But I did learn a lot about computers somehow. I always thought it would have been a great way to impress the ladies. Turns out I can really only pique the intest of Gnappy and Evade. Whodda thunk it??

When I was a kid, I did my lounging and computer nerdery when Dad was at work, then when he got home it was all sports n whatnot outside or I would be loaded down with chores too. See, life's all about balance, closeup4(just getting ready for the inevitable

Summer is always a busy time for me cuz work gets nuttier and I coach a dive team in the summer. Glad to know I can keep all my friends intested. I wonder if I can get someone to add that in a dictionary somewhere. Actually, maybe I'll just do it now. I have a pen.

I would tape the Simpsons for you, but about 37 or so years ago someone decided to plant a tree right where it would be in the way of the line of sight my satellite dish. I don't get a good signal in the summer when the leaves are on the tree. I have to get around to moving the dish, but there's about 5 other projects I have to accomplish first... that and I'm not in the mood to buy an extension ladder. Maybe we can get bondi to tape it for both of us :unsure:

I just can't do it!!! I've been trying, but I can't seem to manage it. It's been so busy with work, wedding stuff, and now the dive season has started (I coach a dive team in the summer). I've been trying to pop by now and then to see what's going on in RMM land, but I can't seem to find the time to read and catch up and post.

I just wanted to say hi to anyone who might miss me (yeah, right)

So have I been missing anything???

no, someone broke the little plastic tab off my videotape so it wouldn't record.
