Not that I'm inspired by Catholic saints or anything like it, but Saint Giordano Bruno was a pretty impressive gutsy guy. He was burned at the stake in the middle of Piazza di Campo dei Fiori for his beliefs. He believed that philosophy and mysticism were more important than the teachings of the Catholic church...Rather dangerous beliefs to hold during the inquisition. Anyway, the Piazza di Campo dei Fiori is a great place to sit and relax or take a meal and listen to the buskers play music. (Some are actually pretty good and some are just pretty "Campo")
