patent
While I was in Florence, Italy this spring I noticed a stone tablet high up on the wall of a building proclaimig Antonio Meucci as the inventor of the telephone. I wondered about this and took a picture of the placard. Unfortunately neither the camera nor the photographer were up to the assignment. (I'll have to go back to Isaac's School of Photography! ) My crappy pic is attached.
WHO HAS SEEN THE WIND ?
CHRISTINA ROSSETTI is rolling in her grave....
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling
The wind is passing thro'
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads
The wind is passing by.
