actually the term idiot was first used to people who weren't politicians. Now it's the other way around.

Damn you and your quick replys. I was going to post exactly that etymology. Actually, I think I just read it from SD recently... although I've know the history of the word for a while now.

WOW Im sorry , We just had a new john deere 9760 with lateral tilt and full green star and auto steer delivered before i left friday and with a 12/30 head and we spent right around $300,000. give or take a few thosand , Youd better check with your dealer I think you got took ... :cheers:

well they can pick it , but they cant shell it off the cob for shit , been tried , hell If I had known I could get Gnappy for .75 an hour I would have hired him to teach them ....

well... it'd probably actually cost you $5.75 for gnappy... you'd have to spend 5 bucks on a 6-packr of natty light... but after that, bob says he'll pretty much do anything

He must have meant Canadian $ up here similiar combine with pickup header would cost very close to 500g's to put only 300 hr's on it a year and then to sell the grain for next to nothing...that is why I don't farm anymore... yup you heard it here first unclebuck used to be a farmer till the right fellow came along with way too much money and bought me out I invested wisely and have not looked back since. But I do have great respect for farmers and that way of life they do feed the world !!! :blahblah:
last time I checked oil still tastes like shit :P

Oh i hear ya , our problem is simply we have had to grow to such big acres we cant afford the down time , so we trade every 2yrs and often times we hire a 2nd machine to help us , the thing that hurts is in 1975 that combine would have cost 50 G and sold the corn for 2.00 and today it costs 300 G and were still getting 2.00 . :2thumbsup:
