There's another hooters up there a few blocks south of Cavill Avenue but it's a strip joint.... or so someone told me!
Surfers is a little different to the rest of Australia. Similar to Bondi in the way that it's heavily geared toward the tourist market, so they jack up the price on everything!
And you aren't kidding about the drink prices at nightclubs! Shooters was probably the worst. Melba's was ok as they had lot's of happy hours and The Shack was good one night when I went. They had a ladies night where the girls got one free drink every 30 mins. My wife doesn't really drink so she just kept going up to the bar to get the drinks and passed them to me

Are those beers American AND full strength?
Michelobe I believe is full strength , Amber bock is a dark beer drank mostly by the preppies , its not a lite beer but I dont know the content .. Busch is a beer that i can drink alot of and it doesnt fill me up .thats my reason for drinking it and its fairly cheap .
Is there ANY good beer in America? Once again, no LITE
I like Miller Genuine Draft (MGD). I think it's 4.9% or something, so it's not full strength but it's not really lite either.
But living in Canada it's not like I've tried every yankee beer on the market.

I'm not a fan of MGD. It takes like burning to me. As sad as it sounds, I prefer Bud Light to Miller Lite to lots of other stuff, to MGD.
My beer of choice for the summer so far is Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) . It's actually pretty tastey for a shitty beer. and because it's not so popular, it's usually the coldest beer in the bar
its also cheap at the store so it's a good party beer. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the comeback beer of 2007

spotted
Pabst Blue Ribbon? My English is not good, but I have to tell you, that beer is like swill to me. Do I have that right? I am saying that only a swine would drink that beer.
But I must confess, on a hot summer day, I can down a case of Miller High Life pretty easy. It's a cheap, shitty beer, but I kinda like it. It's my guilty pleasure.

haha. Spotted and well played.
And I belive only a true alcoholic can enjoy the finer things in life like cheap shitty beer. or is it the economical sense of shitty beer. or is it that if I learn to enjoy shitty beer, moderate tasting beer tastes like expensive beer.
well hwatever.
All I know is that 8 beers makes an ugly girl cute. I can get there with good tasting beer for $32, or I can get the same buzz for $14 still hvae $18 left over to feed the parking meter while I"m banging the broad in the back of my car. And then still have enough money to give her a quarter to call a cab.. and then still have enough money to buy go for breakfast with my wife. (it takes only 6 beers to forget I'm married)

I like it too. WHen it comes to Yankee beers we really only get MGD or Bud, which is imo the worst beer ever produced anywhere world wide!

For thos of you with my myspace I just got a whole bunch of new pics from my trip and I'm gonna post them. I'll include this pic with a cricle around me
