QUOTE(Gnappster)
There was story of some dude from Calgary who was in Cancun at about the same time you were. He "apparently" fell out of second story balconey, but others say he was beaten by hotel security. He was braindead, shipped back to Canada and taken off life support. Crazy shit.

I loved Mexico though, never had any problems. Cancun next year? Sounds like fun. I'll have to try and head down there too.

I didnt hear that story, where was he staying somewhere low budget? Our resort was pretty good with security I must say, I never felt unsafe in my whole time in Cancun.

I am waiting for my sister in law to turn 21 because mother fuckers cant drink or go clubbing in the states until 21 so im looking at August? Or if the weather is too cold June/July of 2009

true enough. we don't hear about the millions who go and return safe and sound.
Where I used to live, close to 50% of the city's murders happened within about 6 blocks of where I lived. And the 5 years I lived there, probably 5 murders occured within 3 blocks. But yet I never felt scared or threatened. I would go out and run with my dog almost every night and never encountered a problem.

Exactly! When I was about to travel through Europe all of a sudden everyone knew someone that had their wallet stolen or was pick pocketed etc. I walked around the streets of most Western European countries that month and never once felt under threat.

People have been stabbed at Bondi, right dow by the beach but it is usualy a matter of finding or putting yourself into bad situations. I run along the beach a few times a weke and surf there almost daily, never had a problem!

You're in, now to convince the wife we need a king size bed and to openly explore threesomes, should be a piece of cake!
