It's been averaging high 80's around here lately and I have been DYING.

Where I am moving to they are usually in 90's this time of year but at least I will have AC there.

But in the winter they will be around 12-30 F

oh boo fucking hoo

we go from -40C in the winter to +40 in the summer, that's like -40F - 100F.
But on average it's -20Cish in the winter and +28C in the summer.

just commenting on your new av.
1. I like it!
2. What's up with deer on liquor bottles. There's Jager, St. Hubert's, some crazy tequila I saw and countless others. So what's the connection, nothing says drunk like a deer head? You're in the industry so maybe you know, or just send me a bottle of jager and I'll drink it and come up with dozens of theories and then passout in the bathtub.

That is all®

Firstly... fuck living there.... too damn cold!!! I'll visit in Summer!

Secondly, There is no connection between different deer that appear on various liquor bottles. Most probably they ripped it from Jager as it has such a cult following. There is a story about the Deer on a Jager bottle and I shall share it with you.....

First of all Jager-meister means Hunt-Master in German. There is an old story that says there was this German man who called himself the hunt master. He was a self proclaimed killing machine, would kill deer etc in one shot all the time. He was out hunting one evening when he caught site of the biggest Buck he had ever seen! He quickly aimed his gun and as he did this cross shaped star shone brightly above this Bucks head and the man was hypnotised by such natural beauty. The moment seemed to last forever.

From that moment on the Hunt Master decided he would be at one with nature, he'd never kill again. So he set up camp that night and went about collecting herbs, fruits, spices and roots to mix up a special elixer. He collected 56 in all and that drink he named Jagermeister!

The factual content of that story is debatable but it is mostly true in that there was an original recipe and it has been modified. It still does contain 56 herbs, spices etc but yeah, thats the relevance of the Buck/Deer on the bottle

wow, that's a hell of a story. I knew what jagermeister meant but not the rest of the legend. but my search goes on to unearth the truth behind the deer head on liquor bottle, well besides jager as I know that one now.
