Half the time newb bashing is fun, if someone newb bashes me, I just laugh that they took the time to comment on something I said, hey gives me extra comments to say back. Win Win situation!

You see Dark One, that sorta thing pisses me off. When I go out newb bashing, it's because the newb is a dumbass and too fucking stupid to realise it, so I try to point it out. Yes, I know I've wasted 20 seconds responding, but in the off chance that then realise it's because they're a dumb fuck, it's worth it.

If they're the type that say "Well you just wasted 20 seconds of your life that you're never gonna get back", well hell, add that to the 20 I spent reading your initial post, another 20 reading your reply, and another 20 for my reply saying, well so did you ya dumbass, and guess what? You're still a dumbass".

End result ---> Newb - still dumbass. Me - still pissed. No change.

Oh, and don't mistake me for a newb because of my low post count. I have been on these boards since Nov 05, but had to resign due to problems with my old account. So over the years (I know it's not much compared to some) but over 1,100 posts.

I think this has less to do with the newb bashing, and more to do with the general bitchiness of some of the people on this site. There is a whole lot of jumping down the throats of people you barely know for absolutely no reason. Who really cares if someone starts a new thread thats simialer to an old one, is it really worth being a total ass to someone.... probably not.
The melons on this site are amazing but some of the people aren't really worth talking to.

Didnt call you out by the way , you posted first then I responded , for every action there tends to be a reaction and if you dont wish to recieve feedback other then what you want to hear then dont post in the first place ,Its really simple when a person thinks about it . The point of all this is , If a new thread begins and it is a good logical ethical thread then great , If you want advice then by all means start a 411 thread for yourself and solicit advice , the problem with adding new thread at every wim is then you tend to bury some thread that are logical and ethical and it just takes up more cyber space .

The bashing you took was becuase how you led up to things , first you ask adivce then you counter with well you did it and wasnt what you thought it would be so you watched a movie ,it just made it appear really far fetched , and trust me i know all about that and have been bashed for it so i have muxh experience here .
