Buffy has to be right up there, but so is Alias and My name is Earl 2thumbs.gif Any show that does an homage to Smokey and the Bandit, right on food-smiley-004.gif

If there are better sitcoms that The Simpsons and Seinfeld I haven't seen them! Witty to the bone. Many people do not realise how well written The Simpsons actually is.

Outside Comedy I am an absolute addict for LOST! If you guys have seen any of the 2nd series I dont want to fucking know because it will kill it for me

I watch a lot of reality shows, so if you ever wonder who in the hell is watching this crap...*hides behind a wall to avoid the flurry of tomatoes*

My love for Desperate Housewives has waned some, but hopefully the new episodes will get it going again. My Name Is Earl also rocks, and I'm totally jazzed that it's moving to Thursday and followed by The Office. That's a lethal one-two puch right there. Now if only Scrubs moved to Thursday as well.

Simpsons is a long time favourite, but I also like My Name is Earl and The Office, both damn funny. A lot of people have never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm, but it is one of the funniest shows out there. It stars Larry David (co-creator of Seinfeld) and I dare say it is funnier than Seinfeld if that is possible.

Other than that, I also dig th Sopranos.

That is all.

Now this is where we get cultural clashes....but as we do get US shows, I can join in .....

Love Lost, Simpsons and scrubs - liked DHW, but like most of the shows from US, we are usually a series (or 2) behind. And Buffy....and...

Loved the Office, but suspect you are getting an Americanised version rather than the original..

I know!!!! What really sucks is that my cable went out 10 minutes before the season finale was on and came back on 10 minutes after it was over. So I had to read the script online. I'm hoping they show it again before the next season premiere.

i'm sure they will... but then here's the next question... what happens when they finally do break out? i mean, it seems pretty retarded to call a show "prison break" when they're not in prison anymore....

(oh, and before anyone gets the thought of trying to burn me for watching a show about prison... no i don't watch it for the shower and male rape scenes... angry-smiley-011.gif laughing-smiley-017.gif )

I have to admit, I watch it partly to see Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) half naked. I would do him in a minute. wub.gif

How I can sympathise with you sweet. We are always behind when it comes to American shows airing in Aus. Lost is seriously great, a show that has me completely compelled and that hasn't happened for a long long time!

Half of the other shows I have never even heard of. Oh and Scrubs make me ill!

Oh and sweet u are spot on, the British version of The Office is brilliant, the American version is far less appealing

without him there'd be no show. I have seen both here in Aus and like you said, maybe our form of humour is closer to the Britains but the UK one is tops!

Without doubt the greatest show to ever appear on Television is The Simpsons. Its funny on so many levels. idiotic humour, political, sattirical it has everything!

No doubt The Simpson's, I had a Maine Coon cat that I got when the Simpson's first came on. His name was Bart and he died 2 years ago at 25 lbs and 14 years old. And the Simpson's are STILL on!

When I get to watch TV I find myself watching Fear Factor, Boston Legal. For our friends across the pond I like anything with Mr. Bean and that show Keeping Up With Appearances.
