QUOTE(Gnappster @ Nov 24 2006, 05:17 PM) why did none of my girlfriends subbscribe to her way of thinking? Too busy at counselling? Too busy with the police setting up an Apprehended Violence Order? Too busy changing name, home and physical appearance? They were in fact all men?

QUOTE(Macdonald @ Dec 1 2006, 05:40 PM) Yea, It took me a minute too to think which episode that was from, trying to go through numerous ones in your head can be a rigorous task lol I have them in order with the Duey Decimal system.... What a scam that is

QUOTE(Macdonald @ Dec 1 2006, 05:48 PM) Yes, quite the scam, but then makes me wonder what kind of life you have if you take the time to organize simpsons episodes on that system lol A fulfilling one? That was an off the cuff Seinfeld reference above

You can read about it at the straight dope if you're a nerd like I am. I appreciate the Dewey Decimal system as much as the next person, but I wouldn't put it in the same category as "The Theory of Relativity" or Newton inventing calculus. I'd put the brain power needed to figure out how to number books at about the same as it took to number each page. "Let's see, should we do even on one page, then odd on the next, or maybe try two consecutive odd numbers? Hmmm...
