QUOTE(Hot_Mom_II_and_spyguy @ Mar 25 2007, 05:38 AM) Late to the party again! Bad news is, there were no pictures taken last night for next Friday's posting, as the camera went on the fritz. The pictures look like the camera was on psychedelic drugs ... kinda like Van Gogh's (?) "Scream!" Not a good look for titties!!! Do a quick check over this page, Hot Mom. Soon as you mentioned the Van Gough thing it brought back memories of the issues this page covers, and if you camera is one of the listed models it'd explain a bit. Quickly glancing over the page, if it is one of the listed models you may still be able to get it fixed for nix even outside the warrenty period (Sony is the only company listed with a cutoff, and even it's early October this year). I know it's not boob related, but I'm sure people won't mind if it means you're able to post more. -Jak |

QUOTE(Gnappster @ Mar 9 2007, 02:01 AM) I believe it's: "They're real and they're spectacular". For a guy who can probably recite Pi to 30,000 places you sure have to work on your Seinfeld references Alas, it's only Pi to 29,999 places... that 30,000th is a tricky one. Besides.... who's thinking clearly about Seinfeld (or even Teri Hatcher) when they're looking at Baby21? -Jak PS I don't mean to get this off-topic - like many others, I'm eagerly awaiting the love. |

See... the trouble with the comments is that they're often made by people who either don't know any better, are jealous, or both. If someone has big, perky breasts (like your own) that look too good to be real, than clearly they must be fake. It's never a case of, "Wow she's lucky!" unfortunately.
So there's one simple truth you can take from people posting "Fake" comments:
They're so good, people can't believe they're seeing real breasts!
At least, that's what I think anyway. Maybe you could use a good ol' Seinfeld quite in your sig to help you feel better - "They're real and they're fantastic."

Not sure of how this applies to an online forum, but I'm sure there's some kind of lawsuit for doing stuff like this in the material world. It's pretty much unsolicited advertising on a medium which already has (presumably - you getting paid for those ads, JF?) paid advertisements.
Think Bridgestone or similar putting stickers (very large ones, so they can be seen clearly) on billboards advertising tyre fitting companies without actually getting approval from said company OR paying the company who owns the billboard for the space they're using.
We've had people before post links to their personal websites (paid or otherwise) which hasn't proven to be a problem, but that was more in the course of getting to know them - they started just as posters who, incidentally, had websites, instead of a poster who only cares about getting the message out about said site.

The rating system, best I can figure, is just a system of median averages (the sum of all votes divided by the number of votes). JF's list on the side only goes to 2 decimal places, but in reality a lot of these scores probably go much deeper than that - and a difference of 0.00001 could be all that separates the top place from the second (a little extreme, given the number of votes that would require, but you get the idea). The actual odds of two scores being exactly the same are incredibly small (theoretically, it's half the sum of the square of the number of votes each picture received multiplied by the difference between them to 1 against, but I could be wrong about that). Yes - I'm a numbers guy *ahem* As for ratings going up and then down sharply over the course of one day, it's important to remember this is a global site. The update is done at 12am PST (affected by DST) and people like Bondi and myself will probably see the new pics first simply because it's at a more convenient time of day (7pm and 6pm respectively, until Bondi comes off DST). Then, as the hours roll by slowly the rest of the world joins us until the next day and the cycle continues. JF's also set the site up to only allow one vote per user, so it's not exactly easy for one person to mass-vote someone down... though, unfortunately, it's also not impossible (I won't go into detail how, but it's unavoidable). I guess it just means there's a timezone full of ( A ) jerks, ( B ) those without taste, ( C ) the numerically impared, or ( D ) all the above - and it's not this end of the planet 'cause it sounds like the scores are higher when they leave us. |

QUOTE(summoner @ Nov 11 2006, 04:38 AM) Will someone be so kind and make those measurements to metric system?? Then I can continue my answer 34-26-34 converts to roughly 85-65-85, and 5'5½ is around 164cm. Normally I would give both measurements but I guess I got lazy, or something, I guess. I'm still around Bondi - historically haven't gone well posting on forums, though, so I tend to be more of a fly on the wall than anything else. I pipe up when it's called for, though. Kinda hoping that Chelsea, DJ or Sussed are doing the same for this thread - I would sure like to get some input from them. I'll be sure to suggest Cs and Australia to her, though. Actually, I've been suggesting she come over here for years, but this gives me even more sway . -Jak |

First up, if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it CM or BTS.
Now, for a little bit of background. I have a very good female friend who's looking into having some augmentation done. It's still a little ways off while she manages to get the funds together, but she does have some concearns and questions about it - and I figured this is probably a great place to ask, given we've got some fine examples of augmentation gone horribly right. Currently it sounds like she's looking into either Saline implants done in Thailand (for cost, obviously), or "Gummy Bear" implants done on the Gold Coast, Australia.
But she does have some concearns. She's been looking through before and after pictures, and there's a few things on her mind. So I'll attempt to summarise:
- Stretching of the nipple and/or areola. She's rather fond of hers, and wants to know if stretching is common, or avoidable.
- Uneven nipples. Again, for aesthetic reasons, same concearns as above.
- "Plastic" look skin post-op. A lot of the shots she looked at, the skin had stretched to the point that the breasts looked like they were made of a shiney plastic, so she wants to know if this is a long-term thing, or what have you.
- Feel and movement. She didn't specifically mention these, but given she's getting them largely to show off under tight, revealing clothing (low-cut dresses, bikinis, etc) than this is probably the kind of info she'll want.
And just about anything else you could think of that's worth knowing. She's a rather small girl (5'5½, currently 34A-26-34) and aiming to go upto either a large C or a D. I told her I'd find out all I could so she can put in the research well before it becomes an issue. Naturally, she's going to be looking into whatever surgeon she goes for, but the more she knows now the better things should (hopefully) go.
Cheers

I know I've never posted in here before, but I can't not say something about this...
While, yes, it's true that a lot of men are complete arseholes, I don't think you'd find a guy here (in this thread - I'm sure there's plenty of arseholes on this site elsewhere) who wouldn't give up his left testicle in a rather painful way if it meant he could know you were feeling alright. By extension, they'd probably give up the right as well in an equally non-surgical manner if it meant they could also see you smile.
Words like your last strike me like a hot iron in the back, and it makes me feel sick to think someone could so willingly do something like this to one so undeserving. I may not know you, and I may not have spoken to you before, but someone with words like yours is clearly worth far more than what's happened. And even without those words there's still the great many people who've come together, here, to show you their support that tells me you deserve so much better.
I hope you find your appetite soon. Not for the images, of course (your admirers wouldn't care about a few missing pounds, I can assure you), but for your own health. I also hope that you can get yourself through this. I've been to the bottom before myself - twice - and can still only imagine what it is you're going through.
We're all here for you if you need or want us; even many of those who haven't even said so, yet.

QUOTE(evade20 @ Aug 17 2006, 10:27 PM) If I'm not mistaken, that's only the 400mm - they get MUCH bigger than that (including the recently discontinued 1,200mm, and the long discontinued 5,200mm which measured 1.2m long, weighed 100kg, and came with a dolly mounting instead of a tripod mount). Take this 500mm for example.... |

I recall a "joke" I read once... it's rather bad taste, but it's kind-of fitting for what I'm reading here...
"Having an argument on the internet is like running in the special Olympics: Even if you win you're still retarded."
Like I sad, bad taste. But what I'm seeing here just reminds me of it so much. Why doesn't she use a self timer? Why should she?
A few years ago, when I was being the basis for a friend's photomanipulation work, I used a self timer to take all my own pictures. I did it like that simply because I didn't have the option of a photographer, but I did have access to an infrared remote and a sutable tripod. If I had access to a photographer I would've gone that path instead, simply because it's a lot easier to set up, easier to adapt to the situation and, generally, results in better pictures.
But Lynette does have the luxury of a photographer. By the sounds of it, one with access to a nice bit of kit (A D70, while not a D2X, is hardly a toy). And I for one happen to think this combination has worked exceptionally well for her - she's got some fantastic pictures, IMO, and why should you mess with what works?
There's also the "feel" of the pictures that changes. A self-timer can make a picture feel sterile, almost archival, for some people, while having a photographer present can make you feel like someone else is actually genuinely interested in preserving how you look. It's not that way for everyone, of course, but it can get that way.
In short, if she doesn't want to use a self timer than who are you to insist that she does? I can understand her [Lynette's] frustration - with what I've read here, it's almost as if it's being demanded of her to take pictures without a photographer, as if actually having someone behind the camera is some kind of taboo.
Just let it lie before things get more heated.
